Meeting called to order at 6:30 P.M. by supervisor Carl Wagner.

 

Members present: Debra Brousseau, Dale Mitchell, Lee Mohr, Delight Sieler, Betty Holdridge and Carl Wagner.

 

Members absent: James Palmer

 

Richard Renard, Fire Chief was also in attendance along with a couple of residents from Sutton Road.

 

Motion Mitchell, second Mohr to approve agenda as presented.  M/C

 

Burning ordinance published and will be ready for public hearing on June 8, 2009.

 

Motion Mohr, second Brousseau to approve the purchase of two (2) emergency sirens for the amount of $20318.50   $24497.00 excluding poles, monies to come from Fire Department Contingency Fund.  These will be placed at the Fire Department and the old Fire Hall in Holloway.  M/C

 

Road Commission voted to make Sutton Road from Rogers Hwy to Ridge Hwy a primary road. 

This goes to MDOT for a vote sometime this year.  MDOT said road meets all specs for a primary road.  MDOT will hold public hearings for this purpose, nothing set as yet.

Snag could be opposition of residents to this becoming a primary road thereby not receiving federal funding for the road.

 

Motion Mitchell, second Sieler to reinstate Business Certificate of Occupancy Ordinance.   M/C

 

Move forward with the rezone of properties on Holloway Road that are now commercial to rezone to residential properties.  Homeowners and surrounding property owners will be notified of action to be taken by board. 

 

Motion Sieler, second Mohr to authorize Richard Renard to move forward with the purchase of a used fork lift for the amount of $3500.00 if said fork lift meets with his approval. Cost of fork lift to be split between Fire Department budget and General budget.  M/C

 

Motion Brousseau, second Sieler to adjourn meeting at 8:10 P.M.   M/C
