Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by supervisor, Carl Wagner.

Members present: Lee Mohr, Dale Mitchell, Debra Brousseau, Delight Sieler, Betty Holdridge and Carl Wagner.

Members absent: James Palmer

Public Comment:

Douglas Meyers present to discuss his property on Occidental Hwy. Discussion concerns a retention pond.

Don Schilz present to discuss the assessed value on his commercial property on Occidental Hwy.

Motion Sieler, second Mohr to approve agenda as presented to board. M/C

Change cost of emergency sirens from $20,318.50 to $24,497.00 due to error in calculations on bid sheet. Correct amount will be in the minutes.

Motion Brousseau, second Sieler to accept two sets of minutes from 5/11/2009 and 5/28/2009 with corrections to minutes of 5/28/2009. M/C

Written reports furnished by Building, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing Inspectors, Fire Department, Police Department, Park Committee, Assessing Department, Mid year web report.

Minutes from Planning Commission included.

Motion Mitchell, second Holdridge to approve the treasurer’s report and payment of the bills in the amount of $126,090.19. M/C

Sutton Road Update: Township has word that MDOT has approved Sutton Road from a county local road to a primary road. Some residents from Sutton Road would like for the Township Board to approve the bid from Lenawee County Road Commission to spend $218,000.00 to improve Sutton Road. Board feels we need to wait for information from state before making any decision on the road.

Jim Gartin, CEO from Lenawee Economic Development Corporation present to speak on behalf of Lenawee Economic Development.

Motion Sieler, second Holdridge to approve the re-zone for RA0-120-4225-00 at 2000 block of Valley Road from residential to agriculture. M/C

Motion Sieler, second Mohr to accept agreement with Tecumseh Township to share Construction Board of Appeals.
