Board Meeting
June 01, 2009
Call to Order: Meeting was called to order by Kathy Jewell Quigley with the following persons present: Debra Brousseau, Kitty Wagner, Ken Kendall & Kathy Jewell Quigley.
Absent were: Carol Breckel, Fran Lawhead & Scott Blevins.
Approval of Minutes:
Minutes were approved with the following corrections. Total cost for Day in the Park Festival date was 05-18-09 instead of 8-18-09. The next meeting date was corrected to 06-01-09.
Day in the Park
Festival:
Advertising will be in the Tecumseh Herald the week of June 8th, 2009.
Kathy reported that she has talked to Myrna Williams ref; help from students who are in the National Honor Society.
Still working on honoring Bill Osborn during Opening Ceremonies at the Day in the Park Festival. Possible a gift card to a restaurant & a certificate. Carl Wagner will make the certificate.
Other events: Park Board is considering another bench or two.
The board is also considering more trash cans with lids.
Resignation of Carol Breckel was accepted
Next meeting will be July 6, 2009 at 6:30 pm at the RCC
Next Quarterly meeting will be held August 03, 2009 at 7:30 pm at the RCC
