Minutes of Planning Commission 4/10/07

Meeting called to order at 7:35 p.m. by Vice-Chairperson, Bob Utter.

 

Members present:  Steve McGee, Bob Utter, David McCrate, Ron Weber and Cheryl Benham

 

Dale Witt and Jimmy Colburn Absent – excused.

 

Agenda:  McCrate motioned to accept 4/10/07 agenda, seconded by McGee.  Motion carried.

 

Minutes:  McCrate motioned to accept 3/13/07 meeting minutes, seconded by Weber.  Motion carried. 

 

Public Comments:  None.

 

Public Hearings:  None

 

Communications:

 

Utter reviewed a statement concerning Nonconforming Lots in Single Ownership and the recommendation that compliance should be mandated.  Utter will further research source and distribute at next meeting.

 

McGee provided Board update on their review of Zoning Ordinance 9.90 whereas all but 9.90.6 has been approved.  Board asks the 9.90.6 be removed in entirety.

 

Benham provided update on requiring (or not requiring) that all platted subdivision lots be fronted on subdivision streets.  Specific documentation concerning this topic will be distributed at next meeting.

 

At 7:50 PM Utter motioned to close Planning Commission meeting and move to workshop session, McGee second.  Motion carried.

 

The focus of the workshop was review of the Growth Management Survey responses and discussion on comprehending and utilizing the data from the responses.
