SUMMER TAXES

Summer Taxes will be collected by Raisin Charter Township for the year starting July 1 - September 14, 2011.  1% per month after September 14, 2011 will be added to the tax bills.  3% penalty after February 14, 2012.

For those persons who find the above dates inconvenient, you are requested to pay by MAIL.  WE ENCOURAGE THE PAYMENT BY MAIL.  All taxes postmarked after due date shall bear interest.  Please make check or Money Order payable to:
          RAISIN TOWNSHIP TREASURER (Do Not Send Cash)

If you need a paid receipt, please return both copies with your payment, the top copy will be returned to you.  Also send a stamped self-addressed envelope.  Please be aware that there is an after hours drop box located near the front door of the Township Office.

 

WINTER TAXES

Winter  taxes will be collected from December 1, 2011 thru Feb 14, 2012 after 

Feb. 1, 2012 there will be a 3% penalty added plus 1% int . thru March 1,   2012.    Then your taxes are turned over to the County Treasurer.

DOG LICENSE

You You may purchase your dog license from the Township Treasurer

The fee's are as follows:

  • December December 1st, 2011 but Before March 1, 2012 - $10
     

  • After March 1, 2012 thru November 2012   - $20

YOU MUST SHOW PROOF OF RABIES VACCINATION that is valid and up to date.  Bring it with you or mail it.  (It will be returned with the License).
